Black Tea is the most oxidized tea. More so than Oolong, Green and White. Generally stronger in flavor and contains more caffeine than less oxidized teas. There are two principal types of leafs used, the small-leaved Chinese variety plant (Camellia Sinensis Sinensis), also used for green and white teas, and the large-leaved Assamese plant (Camellia Sinensis Assamica), which was traditionally only used for black tea.
Black Tea retains its flavor for years while green tea usually loses its flavor within a year. Black tea has a cool and cultured history. Whether you're a Tea Purist and prefer an "old school" cup of Darjeeling or exotic blends are more appealing, Black Tea is an outstanding tea beverage to experience. So go ahead...order some of our Black Tea and bring the brew to your home to
